Exams at Red Eye
Patients love that we offer the latest technology in a warm and inviting setting. We want you to feel comfortable before, during, and after your exam.
1. Checkin
Just check in at the front desk.
You can print and fill out our patient history and HIPPA compliance forms to bring with you so you can spend more time on the thing that matters most – selecting your glasses!
2. Pre-test and Test
Exam Basics
Comprehensive eye exams are performed by Dr. Matthew W. Gifford and Dr. Anita Patel. Not only will you be evaluated for current eyeglass and/or contact lens prescriptions, but you will also be checked for ocular diseases.
3. All Done
Your exam is finished and it’s time to select your glasses and order your contact lenses. One of our floor staff will help you pick out comfortable frames that fit your style. They will also go over your insurance policy and discuss what lens options would best fit your needs and prescription. Your glasses will be ordered and ready for you in as little as two weeks.
Comprehensive Eye Exams
You will be evaluated for a new eyeglass and/or contact lens prescription. You will also be screened for various eye diseases. Retinal checks will be done by dilating your pupils or with an Optos camera (an alternative to dilation).
Medical Exams
This type of exam is usually more targeted and condition specific. These can range from acute (red eyes, allergies, styes)to chronic (glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy). We do accept some medical insurance plans.
Dry Eye Therapy
Symptoms include burning, red eyes, excessive tearing, blurry vision just to name a few. We have ways to diagnose and treat your dry eyes. We offer Envision by Inmode, which uses Radiofrequency (RF) & Intense Pulsating Light (IPL) to treat your dry eyes in a non-surgical & non-medicated way.
Planning on using insurance?
